Original Late 19th Century Graphite Drawing. On paper. Laid down on backing paper. Inscribed. Some foxing as shown in photos with a vertical line from previous folding before it was laid down.

Collection Information

From an excellent album of charming anecdotal and character studies, seemingly all by the same hand. Very much of their time. The album was inscribed 'For my darling Auntie Carrie' and '1886' - see photo. This predates the drawings which are mostly dated between 1890 and 1892.
