This is a dainty portrait on bone like material of Lady Anne Bingham after the original portrait by Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723-17892). This version of Reynolds' portrait certainly has the romanticised characteristics of the late 19th C Pre-Raphaelite style of portrait painting. It has been presented in a delicate floral oval, brass frame with a standing leg. The painting has been inscribed with "Reynolds" at the bottom right. Unsigned. On Bone.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including heavy discolouration. The frame and leg show minor warping.
