Large Fine Original 19th Century Oil. A very fine Victorian oil painting depicting a gentleman in fine dress and spectacled and presented in a gilt frame. Unsigned. On canvas on stretchers. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is a closed tear to the mid right edge that has been touched up. Inspection under UV light reveals some other small areas of touching up.
