Collection Information

Inspired by the Belle Époque, Joseph-Marie Le Tournier produced over 700 watercolours under the name La Brige.

These exquisite paintings were produced and edited between 1950 and 1970, at the request of a Parisian art gallery. Originally destined to be greeting cards, they represent the travels of the artist throughout France and constitute a genuine “Tour de France”.

Each watercolour is a vivid reminder of — and invitation to explore — a bygone era. Let yourself be guided by your curiosity and desire to discover France, its people and its iconic scenes.

Location

Chenonceaux, Indre-et-Loire, Centre-Val de Loire, France, 37150
