A charming watercolour painting, depicting a bright cottage view with chickens. Monogrammed and dated to the lower right-hand corner. Artist's name and date are inscribed to the reverse, however, the label has been damaged and the artist's name could not be retrieved. Well-presented in a card mount and in a wooden frame with gilt detail. On watercolour paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and slight foxing, mainly to the sky area. Some trapped dirt to the mount. Small scuffs and abrasion marks to the frame.
