This charming costume design once belonged to the Hepburn Wright Gallery, a London based gallery who specialised in costume design. The design depicts Perseus, the Greek hero who was sent to retrieve the head of the cursed Medusa. The costume reflects the story line of Perseus and Medusa, with snakes lining the torso of the tunic and a winged helmet that represents gifts given to Perseus during his travels. Unsigned.
