Collection Information
From a collection of accomplished mid 19th century watercolours by the artist L. Drayton. While little is known about the artist, many of these studies date to the 1860s, stretching the length of the Britain and depict the dramatic rugged scenery that was typically popular as a subject during the subsequent decades. While many are signed, all are by the artist's hand and were acquired together as a studio portfolio.
