A fine and delicately detailed 19th Century watercolour copy of the self portrait by Rembrandt from 1634. The artist has signed to the left edge and the painting has been presented in a 19th Century black frame with gilt inner window. there is a 19th Century label at the reverse inscribed "Captain W. Bavion," likely the owner of this painting. On paper.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Losses to the upper two corners of the frame.
