An atmospheric winter landscape looking towards the Glyptotek in Copenhagen. The artist's choice of colour palette captures the quiet stillness of a cold city day, with touches of warm red tones picked out in the historic buildings. The oil has been signed by the artist to the lower right and dated 1952. Well presented in a silver-effect frame with further inscriptions verso. On canvas on stretchers.
Condition
Light scuffs and scratches to the surface of the oil near the architectural elements of the scene. Marks and light wear visible to the silver-effect frame.
