Collection Information
Kathleen Irene Nixon was born in Woodside Park, north London. She studies at Camden School of art and later taught there (1911), then studied illustration at Birmingham School of Art (1913). Her first book illustrations were published in 1922, and from 1924 to 1927 she illustrated and designed covers for numerous stories for Enid Blyton, published by George Newnes. She lived in India for 25 years and married there.
