Jules Jacquet (1841-1913) was an engraver and etcher. He was born in Paris, the brother of the engraver Achille Jacquet. He was a pupil of Henriquel-Dupont. He won the Prix de Rome in 1866. He exhibited regularly at the Salon de Paris, receiving a second-class medal in 1875, a first-class medal in 1882, and a gold medal at the Exposition Universelle in 1889. He was named Chevalier of the Legion d'Honneur in 1883, and Officer in 1895.
