Artist Biography
Joseph William Milliken (1865-1945) was a Liverpool-born landscape artist who also painted continental scenes in watercolours. Milliken exhibited many times at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool and also showed at Royal Academy and Royal Cambrian Academy. There has been some confusion about his first name but government records show that it was as above and not James as is occasionally stated.
