Joseph Edward Hennah exhibited works at the Royal Academy, London, the South Wales Art Society and the Royal West on England Academy, Bristol. He works as a landscape painter in Newport after serving in WWI. Around 1939 Hennah moved to Weymouth. He quickly became involved in the art scene there, and was closely involved in the setting up of the Weymouth and South Dorset Arts Centre.
