Description

A fine 20th Century snowy scene in oil, showing the trees and undergrowth on the edges of a park, covered in thick, freshly fallen snow. The black metal railings and stone wall of the park boundaries can be seen through the snowy vignette. The artist has signed and dated to the lower left corner. The painting has been presented in a simple cream frame. On canvas.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration, although, as the artist has used a yellow tones canvas ground, the painting naturally has a yellow hue. Some scuffing and scratching to the frame.

Size

57 x 46.5cm (22.4" x 18.3")
Framed Size: 58.5 x 48.5cm (23" x 19.1")
