A vivid rolling landscape in pastel, by the British artist Jon Warden. Entitled 'May in the Bardfields', the composition shows the landscape in the surrounding area of Great Bardfield, a large village in the Braintree district of Essex. With arable fields in the foreground and rapeseed in the distance, the artist is adept in the medium. Well-presented in an off-white double mount and gilt wooden frame, as shown in the photographs provided. Signed and dated and inscribed. On wove.Condition
In fine condition, with only some light scuffing to the corners of the frame.
