A charming Impressionistic work by John Pawle (1915-2010). An inscription in biro to the reverse reads "approaching thunder - Priory Meadows / Spring 1985." The work is signed to the lower left and is beautifully presented in a gilt frame with a canvas slip. On board.

The artwork is in very good condition. Light wear to the frame and some slight discolouration to the canvas slip.
