Landscape painter who painted extensively in Wales and the Lake District during the 19th century. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and at other London galleries. Between 1862-1908 he exhibited regularly at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists. While mainly landscape, these ranged in subjects from rural occupations, parks, coastal scenes to churches, village & town scenes and still life.
