Artist Biography
John Heiden (1894-1986) was born in Menden, Germany. He emigrated to the United States in the interwar period and lived on a farm near Echo Lake, just outside of Johnsonville, Pennsylvania. His work predominantly features the landscapes of Pennsylvania, the Delaware Water Gap region, and the Atlantic coast of Maine.
