An original oil painting by the British artist John Haskins (b.1938). Entitled 'Summer Rain, Hertfordshire'. The scene depicts a father and son walking a dog on a woodland trail. Signed to the lower right. Presented in a modern gilt effect frame with a painted cove and internal slip. Labelled verso. On baord.

Condition

Signs of wear consistent with age. Light wear to the linen slip and frame. The overall condition of the artwork is very good.

Artist Biography

John Haskins is a British painter who was born in London in 1938. Haskin trained as an illustrator in London and worked as a commercial illustrator of companies such as NASA and Rolls Royce. He now produces his own paintings with wide subject ranges. From British country scenes to cityscapes and sports scenes, Haskin's fascination with the world around him shines through in his delightful oil studies.
