Description

A fine aquatint print depicting Charles the Twelfth, a racing horse. An inscription below the image details the horse's racing achievements and ownership. The Print was engraved by John Harris (1811–1865) after Charles Hancock (1802–1877), and was published by Rudolph Ackerman. Well presented in a maple frame. On paper.

Condition

Signs of wear consistent with age, including discolouration and foxing to the paper. Some debris caught behind the glass. Wear to the frame, including scuffs and small losses. Overall, the artwork is in good condition for its age.
