Description

A delightful oil study depicting figures with a hay cart crossing a stone bridge. In the foreground figures watch the passers by from the river's edge. Signed to the lower right. Well presented in a gilt frame with a laurel and berry running pattern and floral scrolling to the cove, On canvas.

Condition

There is some craquelure to the surface and some some discolouration cause by surface dirt. There are small losses to the frame and some cracking,
