An impressionist view of the Yorkshire Dales by the British artist John Deller. Captured in a subdued palette of green, Deller has used directional brushwork to break up the composition, bring texture as well as depth to the view. Well-presented in a large wooden frame with a wide internal slip. Signed and dated, 1959. On board.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some dirtying to the surface, scuff and scratch marks to the frame. The frame's internal slip has also discoloured.
