Artist Biography
Printmaker, watercolourist and teacher, born in Pontypridd, Glamorgan. She studied at High Wycombe School of Art and Royal College of Art and went on to become head of the printmaking department at Maidstone College of Art, having also taught at Medway College of Art and Shusta College, California. She was a member of the Printmakers’ Council, RE and RWS. Illustrated books for Oxford University Press. Was an invited artist for a series of exhibitions in continental Europe, including Ljubljana, Yugoslavia, 1971; Frechen, West Germany, 1972–4; Epinal, France, 1975; and Biella, Italy, 1980. Group exhibitions included RA. Had a solo show with The Richard Bradley Atelier, Norfolk, 1971, later ones including Newport Art Gallery, 1976, and Portland State University, Oregon, 1980.
