Artist Biography

Jerzy Faczynski was a Polish soldier, artist, architect who came to Britain in 1941 as a refugee. He studied Polish School of Architecture at Liverpool University and later on taught at the Polish School of Architecture in London from 1946-52 teaching drawing. In his life time he designed more that fifty churches.
