Born in 1959 Jenny Wheatley is a well exhibited, practicing artist, best known for her watercolour studies. In recent years Wheatley has become equally well known for her large oils and acrylics, which have been widely collected both by the private and public sectors. Wheatley takes her inspiration from her frequent travels abroad, where she paints in situ and collects information and artefacts that appear in her larger, more formal studio paintings. Wheatley is one of the youngest ever elected members of the Royal Watercolour Society, having exhibiting at the Royal Academy and Royal West of England Academy.
