Jean M. Blair studied at Farnham Grammar School and Southern College of Art, Portsmouth. She lived in Hampshire and Hampstead. Our collection dates from between 1947 and 1985, with the majority of the works produced in the 1950s. Blair specialised in English landscapes in watercolour and pastel, in particular views around Surrey and Hampshire. Our collection also includes unusual scenes in Croatia.
