Jean Laudy (1877-1956) was a Dutch painter of interiors, still lifes, and portraits. He studied at the Antwerp and Brussels Academies of Fine Arts. He settled in Brussels, where he joined the "L'Effort" studio and the "Le Sillon" artists' association, and exhibited at the "Cercle des Beaux-Arts" and the "Salon de La Libre Esthétique." He also won a gold medal at the 1910 World Exhibition in Brussels and was appointed as an official court painter to the Belgian Royal Family.
