Description

A charming 20th Century pastel scene, showing a flock of sheep wandering down a dappled path with trees all around. The drawing is presented in a simple wood frame with card mount. There is a handwritten label at the reverse, taken from the original frame, with the artist's signature and address. On paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Some debris trapped behind the glazing.

Artist Biography

Painter born in Kirkmichael, Perthshire. A pupil of Frank Calderon and Walter Donne. She spent some time in France, exhibiting at the Salon des Artistes Français 1926-1931. She exhibited at the Paris Salon, SWA, Dudley Gallery, London, RSA and AAS.
