Collection Information
We acquired a portfolio of works, some of which were signed Jan Johnson. We know nothing about the artist except what we can deduce from the contents of the collection. She (or he) did book jackets and illustrations, posters, fashion drawings as well as fine art. She seems to have had a preference for pen and ink and gouache. The artist has a clear and demonstrable proficiency in the medium.
