Jan Grégoire was a Dutch painter of portraits, still lifes and landscapes. He was educated at the Ecole Normale des Arts du Dessin in Brussels. In 1910, he moved to Amsterdam, where he went to the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten from 1913 to 1915. He was a member of the artist association Arti et Amicitiae. His son became a sculptor and his grandchildren painters; three generations of artists.
