A charming watercolours scene of three figures walking along the rural path on a misty day. Signed to the lower right with the titled inscribed to the lower left. The work has also been well presented in a white mount and simple wooden frame. On board.

In fine condition with some minor scuffs to the frame..

Artist Biography

Painter born in Northchurch, Berkhamsted whose work can often be found as prints and postcards. He also painted under the name F. Arnold. As yet surprisingly little is known about this incredibly prolific artist. The 1901 UK census shows him living with his wife in Luton and his occupation is described as an Artist & Painter. His death was registered in 1926 in Berkhamsted where he was born.
