Description

A fine nautical watercolour showing a figure strolling down an industrial dock with boats at the dock's edge. The artist has signed and dated to the lower right edge. The painting is presented in a molded, gilt effect frame with glazing and a gilt mount. There is a discoloured label at the back with the artist's signature and address. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing across the surface. The frame has areas of cracking along the molding, and general wear and tear to the gilt effect. There is some dirtying to the mount behind the glazing.
