A charming study of cattle watering by landscape artist Jack R Mould (1925-1998). Painted near the picturesque village of Rydal, in the heart of the English Lake District. Signed by the artist to the lower left. Presented in a 20th century gilt-effect frame with delicate running pattern mouldings. On canvas on stretchers.Condition
their are a few white marks on the surface of the canvas. However, the overall condition of the painting is very good. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.

Artist Biography
Jack Mould was born in London in 1925 and moved to Cornwall at the age of 15. He joined the army in 1942 and served for four years.
After leaving the army, he picked up painting, specialising in landscape painting, capturing the beauty of the British countryside.
