Stark trees stand to the left of the path and the sun disappears on the horizon to the right. The artist has signed to the lower left edge. For restoration. Heavy discolouration. There is some craquelure to the surface. There is a very large tear to the canvas at the lower right and a small tear at the left of the centre.
