Description

A charming etching with coloured pen of the story of Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott first published in 1820. We can see the title as well as the two characters names at the lower edge along with the publishers information. The work has been cone on watermarked wove paper which partially reads 1834, unsigned. On watermarked wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is also a horizontal crease to the lower edge and 2 small losses to the corners.
