Description

An expressive and contemporary female nude from established Austrian artist Inge Clayton. Clayton has combined a number of intaglio printing techniques - including drypoint, to create the interesting pattern work visible to the background and the sitter's underwear. The vivid colour palette has been applied a la poupée. These methods wonderfully capture the confident character of the sitter. The female form and sexuality are subjects frequented by the artist. Inscribed with the print number below the image '7/35'. Signed and dated. On wove.

Condition

There is some light creasing to the corners. Overall the appearance is very good.
