Description

An interesting contemporary etching from established Austrian artist Inge Clayton. The nude form and sexuality are subjects frequented by the artist, and this unusual composition depicts several naked men, one seated on a chez long, partially hidden by curtains. Fabric textures found in the background create depth and interest within the scene, which has been achieved by inking up material and impressing it into the paper directly. These rich textures and expressive mark making are instantly recognisable elements of Clayton's style. Inscribed with the print number below the image '10/50'. Signed and dated. On wove.
