A finely executed pair of traditional Indian watercolour miniatures. One scene shows an elephant with its riders parading through a busy street and the other shows a couple embracing on a boat as women row and play instruments. The paintings both have pretty hand painted botanical borders. The pair have been attractively presented in a pink card mount in a lime washed wood frame with glazing. On cotton.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing across the surface. The frame is in fine condition.
