An impressive oil painting by British, Bristol based artist Ian Cryer. Painted in a Post- Impressionist style with touches of pastel tones. Cryer's muted colour palette effortlessly captures the light entering from a central window. Well presented in a modern painted frame. Signed and dated. On canvas.Condition
There is a light surface scratch to the upper right edge and some minor marks to the frame. Overall the appearance is very good.

Artist Biography
Painter, was born at Filton, Bristol. He studied at Bristol Polytechnic and in London under Leonard Boden at the Mary Ward Centre and also at Bastad, South Sweden. He has held several one-person shows coupled with showing work at the Royal Academy, Royal Society of British Artists, New English Art Club, Royal West of England Academy, Royal Institute of Oil Painters, the Pastel Society and the National Railway Museum, York. Cryer is founder member of the Guild of Railway Artists and has work in many collections including Price Waterhouse, Wadsworth Brewery, Bass Breweries, Longleat House, Royal Mail and the House of Lords.
