This collection of contemporary Chinese ink paintings is both delicate and striking. Drawing on ancient painterly methods, Dongfang has used elegant brushwork mixed with fine calligraphy skills to produce a wonderful selection of drawings and illustrations.
Although many of the works are unsigned, a letter enclosed in the original sketchbooks links this work to Hy Dongfang.
