Hilary Burn (b. 1946) is a wildlife artist born in Macclesfield, Cheshire. She attended Leeds University, gaining a BSc (Hons) in Zoology in 1967. Until 1971, Burn taught in a Leeds comprehensive school, and in that same year began illustrating natural history books and painting birds as a hobby. In 1983, Burn was elected a Member of Society of Wildlife Artists, showing with them at the Mall Galleries.
