Painted in a style reminiscent of the Expressionists and Post-Impressionists, this scene depicts three nude women bathing in a forest. The work is painted on a textured fibrous material, similar to Japanese Chirimengami-e paper. Signed to the lower right. Dated and inscribed "gemalt in Olen" (Painted in Olen) to the reverse of the material. Well presented in a green painted frame with a brown mount. On card.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Minor marks and scuffs to the frame.
