Hewley Mortimer Baines - Original 19th Century Graphite Drawing. Signed to the lower left. Signed. On wove. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and minor creases to paper.

Hewley Mortimer Baines was married to May Harrison and succeeded his father Hewley John Baines in taking over the Bell Hall estates in 1830. The Baines family owned Bell Hall since 1710 after it changes hands from the Hewley family.
