An exceptionally fine graphite portrait of a working Irish Setter in a landscape, by animal artist Herbert Wynn Hellings (1873-1948). The drawing is signed in graphite to the lower left-corner. Newly mounted in a slim gilt frame with glazing. On paper laid to card.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration to the paper and minor foxing.
