DescriptionAn accomplished watercolour painting by the British artist Herbert George, depicting a rural landscape scene with a shepherd and his sheep. Signed to the lower left-hand corner. There is a label on the reverse inscribed with the artist's biographical details. Presented in a wash line card mount and in a speckled gilt effect frame. On watercolour paper.
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and light foxing. Minor marks to the mount and small scuffs to the frame.
