Henry Parke (1792-1835) - Signed Original c.1820 Watercolour. Eastern river scene, possibly the Nile, with building and boat in foreground. Signed bottom right, dated 182(?). Presented in a double card mount and green frame. Signed. Age toning and discolouration particularly to sky area, as shown in photos.Henry Parke was a visual artist who was born in Circa 1792. Several works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'A Royal Navy frigate in Mediterranean waters off Capri' sold at Christie's South Kensington 'The Collection of the Late John Appleby: A Channel Island Treasure House' in 2010. The artist died in 1835.
