The artwork depicts two lovers on a moonlit bridge with a warm, midnight palette.
The print is signed in graphite in the bottom right-hand corner, and holds strong plate marks.
The artwork is presented in a thin molded and gilded wood frame with glazing.
On wove.The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is heavy foxing found throughout the artwork.

Painter and printmaker, son of the artist Norman Macbeth (1821-1888). Born in Helensburgh, Scotland Henry studied at Edinburgh University and art at Royal Scottish Academy Schools and at Académie Julian in Paris. He was elected a member of RE in 1905 and of RA in 1933 and served on both their councils. He was a member and exhibitor at the Ipswich Art Club 1943-45 and also exhibited at ROI, RSA, Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool and at the RI and elsewhere. He was a member of the Chelsea Arts Club and his work is in the GAC. He was the husband of Marjorie May Bacon.
