Henry Hamilton - Original Late 19th Century Commonplace Book. A quite amazing find. The album of Ada Hamilton, presumably the daughter of Henry Hamilton. Abundantly signed, inscribed and dated to the late 19th century. With 2 original sonnets written by her father, Henry Hamilton signed and dated. Other sonnets by other hands. Several fine pen and ink drawings and other material as shown. All in the original leather bound album in deteriorated condition. Henry Hamilton is a known writer, but he was previously thought to be American - proof here that he is English. Signed and dated and inscribed.
