An original soft ground etching printed in colour by the listed British artist Henry George Walker. It is signed in pencil to the lower right below the plate line. Also monogrammed in plate. There is a label on the river which reast 'Lochgoilhead, Loch Goil. Original etching (soft ground) by Henry G. Walker. Member of The Faculty of Arts. Strictly Limited Edition of Artists Signed Proofs, in colour.' Signed. On wove.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration, mainly to the outer margins. There are two small areas of white discolouration to the top left section of the image.

Artist Biography
Henry Walker (1876-1932) came from Birmingham and was active as an etcher from 1921. He specialised in architectural and topographical subjects. Many were views in the South West such as Tenby in Wales or Brixham in Devon with their fishing vessels and harbours. Walker moved to Devon in 1929.
