A distinctive still life floral arrangement in oil with impasto, by the British artist Henry E. Foster (1921-2010), entitled 'June Flowers with Brass Figurine'. The artist has produced an impressive, balanced composition, with a bright, but subtle palatte. Well-presented in a gilt wooden frame with egg and dart beading, and scrolling acanthus running mouldings. The title is inscribed on the reverse, along with 'Oil on Board by H.E. Foster 1976', and the artist's stamp, as shown. Signed and dated and inscribed. On board.

In fine condition overall. The frame has some scuffing to the edges and corners.
